Patricia Bellerose, née à Joliette en 1980.

Autodidacte, je peins depuis 2005. Je possède aussi une formation en graphisme du Collège Ahuntsic de Montréal.

Après avoir exploré différents médiums et sujets, l'huile a pris une place prédominante dans ma démarche grâce à son pouvoir d'empâtement. Je m' amuse à y laisser mon empreinte personnelle avec émotions. Ainsi mon coup de pinceau donne de la vivacité à mes sujets.

Ma recherche se concentre sur le mouvement et la luminosité. J'envisage mes sujets à peindre comme des collections en devenir.

J'ai découvert, en automne 2008, les joies de la peinture sur le motif. Lorsque je suis à l'extérieur pour peindre, le temps s'arrête. L'impression de communier avec la nature m'envahit, je respire au même rythme que celle-ci.

Je cherche à saisir rapidement ce que je vois car la spontanéité du geste me garde en contact avec mon essence. Ainsi, ma touche personnelle se déploie à travers mes tableaux.

Self-taught artist, I'm an painter since 2005. I'm also a graduate in art graphic from the Ahuntsic College in Montreal in 2000.

After exploring different type of mediums and subjects, I finally found my way as a painter with oil. The rich thickness of the oil allows me to put my own personal print with a touch of emotions.

I'm in constant search of light and movement to guide me in finding themes for my collections.

I discovered, in autumn 2008, the enjoyments of the motif painting. When I am outside to paint, the time stops. The impression to commune with the nature invades me, I breathe at her rhythm.

I try to seize quickly what I see because the spontaneity of the gesture keeps me in touch with my essence. So, my personal touch spreads through my works.
